Our TeamPWN Canada is made up of a group of fabulous women who make it their mission to provide a comfortable and sophisticated atmosphere for you to network and to find inspiring speakers for our PWN Meetings.
Dani is a passionate supporter of women in business. She joined PWN because of the organization’s commitment to providing networking and skills development opportunities to its members. Dani’s focus in the organization includes developing programming and strategic planning. Dani also practices environmental, Aboriginal and corporate social responsibility law at Fasken Martineau’s Vancouver office, sits on the board of directors for the Environmental Youth Alliance and Monster Creative Productions, and enthusiastically volunteers for Dress for Success.
Monique is a labour, employment and human rights lawyer in the Vancouver law office of Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP. She started attending Professional Women’s Network events in 2010. Inspired by the diverse membership, motivating presentations, and Michelle’s entrepreneurial spirit, Monique joined as Co-Chair of the Vancouver Chapter in 2012. Amongst other things, she is responsible for program development as well as managing and expanding the Vancouver Chapter’s social media presence.
Queenie has been assisting with the Professional Women’s Network since 2011. She manages monthly event coordination, registrations and communications with members. Queenie is a legal administrative assistant at the Vancouver office of Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP.
Co-Treasurer / Event Assistant
Sarah has been assisting with the Professional Women’s Network since January, 2014. She helps coordinate monthly events, registrations, and handles the treasury.
Media & Public Relations Strategist
Jessica joined PWN in April 2015, and brings with her an extensive marketing background in the non-profit sector. Her role involves public and media outreach, connecting media resources with PWN events and information, and assisting with the drafting and coordination of media strategies, including social media. Jessica is the Communications & Social Media Coordinator in Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP’s Marketing department.
Carol has been involved with the Professional Women’s Network since 2008, serving as a key contact and coordinator for all of our members and ensuring that all member needs are met and inquiries are answered. email@example.com
Editor – PWN Blog
In May 2014, Brona joined the Professional Women’s Network and is the Editor of the PWN Blog. Brona is the co-Editor of the BC Legal Management Association (bclma) publication ‘TOPICS’. In her time off, Brona enjoys discovering Vancouver’s hidden restaurant/ bar gems and exploring the great outdoors of B.C.
Special Events and Expansion
Brenda serves as Chief Marketing Officer at Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP. She is past Vice President of Sales & Marketing USA at Hamilton & Spill and Past President of the Legal Marketing Association.
Stephanie served as co-chair of the Vancouver Chapter of PWN since from 2010 until May, 2014. She has been instrumental in determining and executing the programming for our Vancouver chapter’s monthly meetings. Stephanie is an associate in Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP’s Global Energy group. She is also involved with Ballet BC and with a number of industry and professional organizations including the Canadian Bar Association.
Project Assistant and Web Design
Jacky joined the Professional Women’s Network in April 2014. She helps manage and coordinate PWN’s Social Media accounts and website. She also assists with project coordination and initiatives and supports our events planning and execution. Jacky is a legal administrative assistant at the Vancouver office of Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP.

Michelle Pockey co-founded the Professional Women’s Network in 1997, and served as the organization’s National Chair from 1997 until her passing in 2016. While building a successful business law practice at Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP, Michelle grew the PWN off the side of her desk. Michelle’s commitment to helping women connect easily and navigate the challenges faced by female professionals in advancing their careers continues to inspire the PWN team.
